About Our Firm
Founded in 1977, Landman Beatty provides quality legal services with the attentiveness and responsiveness of a small firm. Located on the Northside of Indianapolis, Landman Beatty is engaged in a state-wide practice, representing national, regional and local businesses, and individuals.
After its inception, Landman Beatty expanded its practice from its traditional base of real estate law and representing the multi-family housing industry. Landman Beatty's lawyers handle a wide variety of matters, which includes practice before state and local agencies throughout Indiana, state and federal courts (both trials and appeals), the Indiana Tax Court and the Bankruptcy Court for the Southern District of Indiana.
Landman Beatty has acted as real estate tax consultant and counsel to owners of apartment complexes (over 60,000 units), shopping centers, office and professional buildings, warehouses, manufacturing facilities, and other types of commercial and residential structures. The firm handles real estate tax appeals on a contingent fee based on the real estate tax savings which Landman Beatty obtains.
Landman Beatty represents landlords throughout Indianapolis and surrounding counties in evicting tenants for non-payment of rent and other lease violations.
Landman Beatty brings years of experience to representing clients in all types of litigated matters, including business disputes, housing and employment discrimination, personal injury, product liability claims, bankruptcy and appeals.
Landman Beatty provides transactional legal services for establishing corporations and other business entities, providing the legal work for financing and implementing projects, and legal services related to the sale or purchase of existing projects or businesses.
Depending upon the nature and complexity of the matter and the legal services to be provided, Landman Beatty charges for its legal services on a contingency fee, flat fee or hourly basis. The precise fee arrangement will be established between the firm and the client before beginning work. But regardless of the type of fee arrangement, Landman Beatty does not charge for expenses such as electronic legal research, long distance phone calls, faxes, standard postage or convenience copying.
